Watery Wednesday

More photos from Lake Ontario.
 Where you have waves in winter, you have icicles.
 A wonderful combination.
 What fascinated me,
 was the sand trapped in the ice.

  1. The icicles look sooo familiar. :) Is it my imagination or are there more icicles this year than last?

  2. Very cool! No pun intended. I have also wondered at the sand in the ice.

  4. That's interesting, the sand caught in the icicles. Nice images, but they make me feel cold! I really like #3 with the wave action coming in close.

  7. Hi Judy,
    Seeing the waves and the icicles together is seeing your January. I can hear the waves and feel the cold....a wabi sabi sort of experience. Thank you.
    Stay warm,
    Sherry

  8. WATER

    Water in a drop of rain,
    Water swirling down the drain;
    Water clinging to the trees,
    Water filling up the seas;
    Water frozen, water free,
    Water is the stuff for me!
