I have columbine growing in my garden. It self seeds if you leave it alone. Very pretty, so delicate and yet so hardy. And, it likes some shade!
You must be so please to see the spring flowers after such a long and cold winter.We are just neginning to get the cold. So it is great to see your photos.

Oh! red wild C! I have seen it wild as yellow... now I'm going to be on the lookout for other colors. Gorgeous.
When I lived in Colorado, where Columbine is the State Flower, I used to see these sometimes up in the hills. It is against the law to pick them, and I didn't have a camera at the time. So now I have your pictures to remind me!!!Beautiful!
