  1. I've taken a few pictures of grape hyacinths but never a macro. Your macros show very well. I joined the Today's Flowers meme for the first time today. I chose to showcase a flower bed of tulips in my neighbor's yard.

  3. I love your grape hyacinth close-ups! Whenever I've tried growing them the gophers eat them all. :( They are the harbingers of spring. Great shots!

    Great close ups! Hyacinth is a pretty name too, one of my neighbors is named after this flower.

  29. I really like grape hyacinths, and made sure I did extra containers last Autumn for this Spring. I love the blue flowers, and the colour they add to the garden at this time of year. They give such good value for money.
