This must be handy if you need a tooth pick. I tried to find some Trilliums today on Cape Ann. It seems that the woods are right, but I'll bet the lack of Trilliums on the Cape is due to the fact that we have too poor soil. We are have thin, rocky granite soils and I'll be the pH is wrong.

ReplyDeleteWow, that tree DOES mean business! We have hawthorn trees here with thorns ... but they are only 1/2 inch or so long. These are amazing!
