I have never heard of this kind of strawberry. We have lots of wild strawberry blossoms this year - but they have the yummiest berries ever!I love your macros of this beautiful flower. The yellow just POPS out!

Another new plant, but I was able to find this one in my book myself.
It is called a barren strawberry
because there is no fruit to eat, although there are seeds.
