I've also been fascinated by 'siamese trees'. We have a few in the woods behind our house.That first picture is so cool - how the one tree has actually grown around the other. Quite interesting.

Last April, I was studying the trees which had grown together
over the years, wondering what the insides looked like.
I don't recall having seen this phenomenon in other wooded areas.
