That's pretty wild Judy. I don't know if I've seen anything like that before. You reminded me of a tree I wanted to photograph that's growing on top of a huge rock!
Did you ever feel like that tree? Like you are growing your roots on a stump and the stump rots out from underneath you? I have. Keep adapting...that's what I always say.
Another example of a tree that started growing on top of a stump, only to have the stump rot out from under it.
I find it odd to be able to see amongst the roots of the tree.
