When I was young, I didn't take much notice of how they corns grow and what they have. At harvest time, I simply remove the cover and cook them. The old and dried ones were either feed to the chicken or we would do something delicious for a snack food. Great to impart the importance of this plant. Yummy sweet corn.
The corn is in full swing! I have never noticed the way the pollen hangs from the male flowers at the tops of the plants!
Interesting. Are there seperate male and female plants, or just seperate flowers? The sky in the background of the second shot is a lovely colour
