Blue Vervain and Purple Loosestrife

Purple loosestrife is Lythrum salicaria, while blue vervain

is Verbena hastata, so they are in very different families, Bronwynn.

    Cool. You must admit, though, that they are similar looking. Both stalkish, and in the same colour range
