I've never seen an Iris this color that I recall. Nice shots! I'm not sure I like the brown; but it does have a velvety look. I can imagine them in the same bed as those in your previous post. They compliment each other.

This iris was not blooming last month, but it caught the sun on Monday.
No idea what a spuria iris is, though.
