The goose family is getting bolder, learning that people bring bread for them.
I have heard that the city is using a new birth control method for them.
If you find the nest after all the eggs have been laid, and poke holes in most of them, you end up with a much smaller family.
People can still watch the goslings, but the city has to clean the sidewalks less often.

Tell them not to feed them bread, Judy! Not good! It's like sugar.
ReplyDeleteWe've also been told that bread is not good for geese and ducks. But they certainly come looking for it.
